The Firefly Music Festival has gotten thousands of music lovers and residents around the Delaware area camping despite the rainy weather even though it is summer. But still, the weather condition didn’t stop the thousands of people from attending the said event as reported by 6abc.com:
Despite the rainy weather, thousands of people camped out for the kickoff of the Firefly music festival in Dover, Delaware.
The gates opened at 5:00 p.m. Thursday with thousands expected to attend – the event has nearly tripled in size since it debuted three years ago.
“We are looking at 80,000 people for this year’s festival so that’ll officially put us among the biggest in the United States,” said Greg Bostrom, festival director.
Look around Dover International Speedway and you see a tent after tent, camper after camper.
More than 50,000 people are camping out for the entire weekend and they began arriving on Wednesday.
Based on the report, that’s a lot of people leaving their houses to attend the event. But while you are busy making sure that your tent doesn’t have leaks, did you check your roofing in Delaware yet? It would be such a bum to come home, finding leak stains on your walls and other damage.
